To restore this destroyed old picture (original on the left), I used a combination of the stamp tool & the selection tool to smooth out color changes and to fill in the missing gaps. By selecting an area of the image and copying it, I was able to paste it into the missing part of the picture. Using the clone stamping tool, I could select an area of the picture and draw/fill in a section using that selection.
To restore this picture of an old and torn baseball card, I used a combination of the stamp tool, the paint brush, and the selection tool in Adobe Photoshop CS6. By using the stamp tool, I could take any part of the picture and draw with that section. For example, I selected part of the bat that was in the original picture and stamped it into the place where the bat was missing. I used the paintbrush to trace over the words on the bottom of the card, and I used the selection tool to select a good part of the black border, then copied and pasted it where the border needed to be stronger/thicker.
To restore this photo, I used a combination of the clone stamp tool, the black and white setting, and levels. Using the clone stamp tool I was able to fill in the cracks and faded areas of the picture, and by using levels I could manually adjust how light/dark certain areas of the picture are.
To restore this picture, I used the stamp tool to fill in the cracked, missing, or drawn areas, I used the selection tool to select the areas I wanted to edit, and I used the color balance setting to get the colors. I selected the faces and hands and used a warming filter to give them a peachy skin tone, then i selected the clothes and changed the color to make it a forest green. I used the same technique for the background and benches. I later learned after I edited the photo that I could have also drawn over the areas with the color they should be, then change the layer mode to overlay and change the opacity.
I'm in the midst of editing this photo, but so far I used the clone stamp tool to fill in the cracks/missing parts, used the drawing tool and clone stamp tool to make her right eye, and I googled a picture of a suit, selected it, then copied and pasted it into the photo to create the woman's suit.
